21 Days of Prayer and Purpose

Day 10

Acts 10:1 There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band, 2 A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway.

There is something about a person who prays to God always. In all situations. In every choice made. In all of life’s questions. Always praying because of the understanding they have with the power of their prayers. This account we read in the newly established church of Apostolic's. A person who had a family and workers and was owner to much business dealings. But he was a man of prayer.

When his heart was in search of answers from God, he would support the poor and needy. His heart was in the right place and his desire was to please the God he wanted to know. So in one of these times of deep prayer, there was an interruption from heaven. God was sending an angelic answer. His prayers were heard... the answer was on its way.

As we continue through this 21 days, please me mindful of the possibilities of an answer from God. A moving of the heavens. A shaking in the Spiritual realm. Praying to God and directing your intentions towards Him can and will cause a stirring in the atmosphere. I admonish each of you to Pray as if the answer is right around the next corner. God knows the timing and He knows the place that a real encounter is presented. Pray church... He is listening!
