21 Days of Prayer and Purpose

Day 11

Acts 12:5 Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.

An incredible situation that would need a heavenly response. Peter was simply following the Spirit and going about sharing the blessings of the power of God with all who would hear. These followers of Jesus had become the center of attention and many were out to stop their antics and turn people away from their new found religion.

So as it turns out while Peter was incarcerated and being held in the inner prison... A place of little hope of leaving alive and an atmosphere of utter separation and isolation. Not the best of situations that a person could find themselves. All the church was doing was praying for the will of God to overtake the will of the rulers that had placed the apostle in this position.

Even when Peter stood at the door of the house where the prayer meeting was happening knocking and although the church members believed that their prayers were not in vain. The knocking at the door brought so many incredible and quite  literally astonishing activities into motion. The church could really pray until the answer came. They could plead for the impossible and it could be possible. So as we pray in this 21 days... Pray Until Something Happens!
He is listening.
