21 Days of Prayer and Purpose

Day 12

1 Kings 18:36 And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word. 37 Hear me, O Lord, hear me, that this people may know that thou art the Lord God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again. 38 Then the fire of the Lord fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench.

Fire of the Lord fell? What would it be like to actually see the fire of God fall from heaven and consume a sacrifice made unto Him? I wonder what was going through the minds of those gathered that day around the prophet of God when he spoke 63 words and all of heaven opened with a display of fire never to be forgotten. The power of a prayer with a purpose!

As we have joined our hearts and spirits together for a common goal... revival! We all must decide as individuals if we truly desire to see the fire of God descend upon our families, communities and our world. The scriptures reveal time and again that if a singular person or a group of persons will unite in a purpose... anything is possible.

This few weeks of consecration and commitment must launch us into the realm of the supernatural. A desire that we should all share. God is positioning the church in a place where miracles can happen. Healings, signs and wonders are certain to occur when we come together in a concert of prayer unto the God we serve! Pray church Pray... something is happening!
