21 Days of Prayer and Purpose

Day 14

1 Timothy 2:1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

We should all pray. We all should spend time with our creator and savior. As we pray we should of corse remember those who are in great need of the touch of the Master and we should pray even for those who are in leadership in our lives. From the boss to the president. From the mayor to the teacher. As humanity we are connected to others and we live our lives according to the system God has instilled in us. We help shape peoples lives as we learn to respect and pray for them.

A lesson we try to teach our kids is to respect those in authority in their lives. What that does for your kids is place within them the reasoning that someone is responsible for them just like they are responsible for someone else. What we are seeking is a quite and peaceable life. A life that reflects the gentle side of Jesus. A testimony of His hand working in your life. Again those lessons will serve the next generation well.

In this season of prayer and purpose we are looking for Jesus to make a difference in the lives of our families and friends. They need salvation... so we pray. We intercede and stand in the gap for their future and our prayer is that we all join together in heaven one day. Pray for truth. Pray for salvation for all. Whatever you do... PRAY!
